Obsessed … that’s all I can say … I am obsessed with this little guys adorable, sweet, puckerable (pretty sure that is going to be the new word for 2013) lips … can’t. get. enough.
This little man has been welcomed into the arms of the sweetest family. I loved watching mom and dad swoon over every little wrinkle, smile, and sound he made!

Thank you to everyone for making 2012 the most successful, fun, and amazing year yet!! 2013 has a ton in store … I can’t wait to share more beautiful portraits, stories about my lovely clients, and maybe a few more tidbits about my life. To start things off … I thought I would share some of my New Year’s Resolutions. I know its cool these days to scoff at this annual tradition … but I just can’t help myself … I am a romantic at heart and believe in the possibilities of a fresh start and new beginnings! This is the time of year when many of us stop to really focus on the many blessings we have in our lives. I had the absolute joy of meeting T & her hubby recently and I was so honored to be asked to capture their newest blessing. She tells their story better than I ever could. I already know these two are going to make amazing parents … not only are they sweet & warm, but they braved a stormy evening just to get these done before Thanksgiving.
It was wet … really wet … and when we were all done, T’s hubby carried her to the car so she wouldn’t have to risk slipping in the mud (and ruin those FAB shoes). Proof that chivalry is not dead … and proof that these two have a lifetime of happiness ahead of them!

I have to start by saying that I have rarely laughed so hard at a shoot in my life … this couple is so great!
I love their wardrobe choices as well … classy, fun, pops of color … everything a photographer could ask for.
We hung out at the Capitol and the gardens in the morning, the weather was perfect, and the mood – totally romantic. I can’t wait for their special day this November!
So much laughing … we were actually crying we were laughing so hard …
