The Beginning: My love affair with photography started when I was 8 years old on my first trip to the ocean. The salt air, ocean waves, my 4th grade BFF, freedom from my little sis and a camera to take photos of whatever I wanted to … the combination was intoxicating! Throughout my childhood and into college, developing every roll of film was like opening presents on Christmas morning … I knew once opened, the package would reveal something good but every once in a while, it was magical!
The Little Things: I love making friends and meeting new people; commercials with talking animals make me giggle; I’m a sucker for chick flicks; I really love food … a lot; I talk way too much; I’ve given up Diet Coke about 8 times in the past 3 years; I can’t get enough of babies, cute couples, or furry creatures; and I still find the ocean wholly, utterly, and completely intoxicating.
The Now: Years later, I am married to the greatest guy ever, have the sweetest, silliest, most loving son and am surrounded by the best friends and family a girl could ask for. Still on my perfectly imperfect journey, I find myself a wife, a mother, and a photographer … and I couldn’t feel more blessed!
